Our ' Bells Whisky' bottle will be out this week for any odd £1 coins you can spare and private donation envelopes are still available at the back of church.
Tickets continue to be on sale at all Masses for the Concert on 3 October given by the Girls Choir of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. This is the first time the Choir will have performed on the Fylde coast so please do support the event. Tickets are only £6 and include a glass of wine.
This weekend marks 100 years since the first Mass was celebrated in our beautiful church of St Joseph's. Whilst we have not proposed a specific appeal for Burkina Faso this year, a number of people continue to make generous donations for this excellent evangelisation initiative by the Bernardine Community in Bafor. The 2014 fund remains open for private donation (please put any offerings in an envelope clearly marked Burkina Faso and place in the offertory collection). The fund closes at the end of Oct and a presentation to the Bernardines of the amount raised will be arranged for sometime in November.
