Ring Frank Ball for further information. (See this weeks bulletin for phone contact details).
The boys at CENACOLO, Dodding Green, send their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their generosity in providing for the Food Bank. They will remember us all in their prayers. The next open day is Wed May 14th.
CAFOD / Caring For Creation:
Please consider carrying on some of the changes suggested in our leaflet. You can find our Caring for Creation Prayer and Action Guide here. Your support of CAFOD helps too. Did you know CAFOD is part of The Climate Coalition, over 100 organisations representing more than 11 million people across the UK dedicated to acting on climate change and limiting its impacts on the world’s poorest communities? God has given us an abundant world, yet all over the world we have failed to protect our planet and consequently our sisters and brothers. We also call on politicians to tackle climate change for the love of everything we care about. See www.cafod.org.uk/fortheloveof

The Prime Minister, David Cameron, has recognised the work of the SVP with a ‘Big Society Award’. The hope would be that this award will help to attract more members for the SVP, more funding, and helps them to be taken more seriously when they speak on behalf of those living in poverty. It should allow them to be more effective in preaching the Good News, as St Francis says: “if necessary using words”
The recycling bins behind the church hall are always available for use if you want to avoid storing cardboard, paper, bottles & jars for the fortnightly collection. It’s all part of our LiveSimply project in association with CAFOD
Letting Of Church Hall:
If you know of any organisation interested please go to the Hall Bookings page on this website, here
Hospital Admissions:
If you or your dependants are admitted into hospital please ask the ward staff to inform the R.C. Chaplain, otherwise a visit cannot be guaranteed. These days, due to data protection legislation, we cannot guarantee that names of Catholics will be passed onto the Chaplain unless consent is given.
